- What is Micro SD Deals?
- Micro SD Deals is a price tracker and recommendation site for SD and microSD cards. We compare live prices, price-per-gigabyte, speed classes, and buying signals across brands so you can find the best value without doing the spreadsheet work yourself.
- Do you sell memory cards?
- No. We don't sell, ship, stock, or handle returns for anything. We point you to the retailer's own listing and you buy there. Think of us as the research step before the purchase, not the store.
- Where do your prices come from?
- Prices are pulled from Keepa, which tracks Amazon pricing history, and refreshed on a rolling schedule — each card about twice a day. A displayed price can lag the live listing by several hours, so always confirm the final price on the retailer page before you check out.
- Which retailers do you cover?
- Amazon for now. Support for additional retailers is planned — each retailer listing will appear as its own entry rather than being merged, so you always know exactly where a price comes from.
- How do you decide "Best Value" and "Most Popular"?
- Best Value is driven by a 0–100 deal score: 70% is how a card's price-per-gigabyte compares to the rest of the catalog and 30% is its discount against a typical street price. Star rating is deliberately excluded so genuine value leads. Most Popular is ordered by real Amazon demand signals — recent units sold and sales rank.
- Are your links affiliate links?
- Yes. As an Amazon Associate we may earn a commission on qualifying purchases, at no extra cost to you — the price you pay is identical. It doesn't influence a card's score or ranking, and every card also offers a plain link that drops our referral tag if you'd rather not use it.
- How do you help me avoid counterfeit cards?
- Each card carries a trust readout built from who holds the Amazon buy box (Amazon vs a third-party seller) and whether the price sits far below the honest market floor for that capacity. Buyers can also vote a card legit or scam. These signals lower your risk but cannot guarantee authenticity — the only real proof is a write test on the card once it arrives.
- Do you cover the Nintendo Switch 2?
- Yes. The Switch 2 requires microSD Express cards, not regular microSD, and we tag cards for that specifically so you don't accidentally buy an incompatible one. You can filter directly to Switch 2-ready cards.
- Can I request a card you don't track yet?
- Yes — paste an Amazon card URL into the "Request a card" form in the footer. We pull that card and its size variations, seed them, and backfill their price history automatically, usually within a few minutes.
- Why is the price sometimes different when I click through?
- Flash prices move constantly, and our figures refresh on a schedule rather than the instant you click. If the retailer shows a different number, that live price is the correct one — treat our price as a strong signal, not a quote.
- Does Micro SD Deals send price-drop alerts?
- Yes. Open any card, set the price you want to pay, and we'll email you once when it drops to or below that target. It's free. Manage everything on your price-drop alerts page. You can unsubscribe from any alert with one click straight from the email.
- Do I need an account? Do you track me?
- Browsing needs no account or login — your theme, compare selection, and authenticity votes all live locally in your own browser, and votes use an anonymous random ID. The one optional exception is price-drop alerts: those email you, so you sign in with Google (which gives us a verified email). We store only that email — no name, no photo, no tracking.
- What are Micro SD Deals' limitations?
- We track a curated catalog of cards, not every listing on Amazon, so some products won't appear until requested. Specs like speed class and endurance are curated and can occasionally lag a manufacturer change. Coverage is a single retailer for now. And nothing here is financial advice — it's shopping research to help you spend well.
